SEARCH COMMITTEE NOTES

March 17

While the Search Committee did meet on Tuesday March 17, 2008, with little to update, no Illuminaire last week and most, if not all, of the candidates busy with Holy Week, we decided to take a break on the update.

Since our last update, we have had two of the original nine candidates withdraw from consideration, and one new candidate enter the discernment process. We remain confident that the Rector whom God has chosen for Christ Church is one of these eight candidates.

Of the seven original candidates still engaged in the process, we have received four responses to our request for additional information, and we will begin telephone interviews with them the first week of April.

We still hope to hear from the remaining three, and expect to receive the additional information from the
newest candidate by April 1.
