SEARCH COMMITTEE NOTES

April 28, 2008

Every time the search committee meets, we hold and pass around a cross made by Deacon Phil and inspired by the crosses on both the Church and the Chapel. The cross has been with us through all of our discussions, interviews, and parish home visits. As some of you may know, Deacon Phil included the following blessing on the back of the cross:

“Glory to God whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we ask or imagine: Glory to him from generation to generation in the Church and in Christ Jesus for ever and ever.” Amen - Ephesians 3:20-21 - Christ Church, Covington-Easter 2002.

The Search Committee met on Wednesday, April 23rd. We reviewed the parish home visits, discussed a number of candidates, and reviewed the Christ Church Parish Profile.

The Search Committee has been working very hard, and we will continue to do so.
