SEARCH COMMITTEE NOTES

May 6, 2008

As of today we have four candidates still in discernment with Christ Church. At our meeting on February 28, Canon Stevenson presented the search committee with 10 names. Of those, we received responses from nine. Of the nine, three continued on to the interview process, and two of the three were visited in their home parishes. When the candidate pool was reduced to three, the search committee requested additional names from the Bishop's office and received five. Of those five names, all have been contacted. Following the initial contact, one has been interviewed, we are waiting on additional information from two, and two were unable to make a move at this time. The search committee continues to meet every week. Only He knows if it will be the next couple of weeks or late summer/early fall. We know that we will continue to work hard and continue to trust in God's guidance.
