CCY Live!: Wednesdays 4:30-7:30PM @ the Church Youth Center
This is our flagship, weekly Wednesday youth night. Join our Christ Church Youth as we enjoy Wednesday evenings that are full of fun activities, music, a weekly message, and Godly fellowship. We will continue to offer our bus shuttle to pick youth up at 4:15pm at Christ Episcopal School (Christwood Boulevard Campus) and bring them to the church for CCY Live! Our Junior High Youth (Grades 6th -8th) will meet from 4:30-5:30 pm. Joint CCY (grades 6th-12th) dinner is offered from 5:30 – 6:15 pm every Wednesday. After the joint CCY dinner, our high school youth (8th-12th graders) will meet from 6:15-7:30 pm. We have included our 8th graders in both groups on Wednesdays to give them the option to join one or the other depending on the demands of their schedules. Our activities change from week to week, so check the calendar (see below) for each Wednesday’s events.

CCY Experience: Sundays 2-3PM @ the Church Youth Center

The CCY Experience will be open to all youth grades 6th through 12th looking to build their faith by focusing on discipleship and growing the gifts that God has already given them. A major component of this gathering will be training our youth to be leaders in ministry, our church community, and in outreach. Our time will begin with worship music and transition into a practical spiritual message for each week. Participants will regularly be encouraged to “take the lead” and prepare group discussions, share their faith, and pray for one another. Stay tuned as well for other occasional youth events on Sundays that will take place in lieu of the CCY Experience.

BlastOff!: Thursdays 4-5PM @ Christ School, Christwood Blvd

This youth group is open to all who are in grades 4 -6. The new group will meet on the Christ Episcopal School campus near I-12 and Louisiana 21 (Christwood Boulevard Campus or CBC). This fresh and exciting new ministry is called BlastOff! The afternoon program will begin with a lively icebreaker game, encouraging everyone to get involved and active in the group. The game will be followed by a short video clip or story that encompasses the topic we will focus on that week, such as friendship, “fitting in”, or identity. Following a short message, the students will divide into smaller groups to discuss the topic at hand with an adult to facilitate. This new opportunity will create a fun and open atmosphere that encourages group discussion of many relevant topics our youth face today and help us guide them through sometimes tough issues with a Christ-centered heart. BlastOff! will be held every Thursday from 4:00PM - 5:00PM. There will also be an adult-supervised study hall available from 3:00PM- 4:00PM for students that do not have a sport or other activity directly after school and wish to remain on campus until BlastOff begins. We will be using a classroom located in the high school building for the study hall and for our BlastOff! meeting space.

Kids on a Mission - children's outreach program, check for dates

Being Christ’s Hands and Feet This is an opportunity to introduce our youngsters (Grades 1-5) to life-long benefits of helping needy children here & around the world. We want our children to learn the importance of sharing their time, treasure, and talent. They will learn how one child can affect change for another child somewhere around the world. One child to one child can make the world a better place. Children ages 3-5 are welcome as long as their parents are with them. Stay tuned month to month for upcoming details.
