Taizé

Taizé services are characterized by quiet and candlelight, the repetition of melodious chants, scripture readings, silence, intercessions, and contemplative prayer. Christ comes to embrace us in the prayers, the singing, the silence, and in his Word. Taizé invites our spirit to move more and more deeply into the stillness, the beauty, and the peace of God's presence.

Our Taizé ministry is guided by the principles of the international, ecumenical community founded in France in 1940 by Brother Roger. More information about the Taizé Community can be found at www.taize.fr.
