Vestry Report
December, 2001

• The Generation to Generation Capital Campaign continues with support. We now have commitments of over $900,000 in property and financial pledges! The process continues and we are awaiting some reports; i.e. appraisals, etc. We are moving forward and hope to have more information very soon.
• Congratulations to Greg Williams, who was elected to the Vestry in December to fulfill Tom Page’s vacancy. Greg has been very involved in several areas at Christ Church and we a fortunate to have him. Welcome aboard Greg!
• The 2002 Annual Budget was approved at the December vestry meeting. Look for the overview in the Illuminare. Anyone is welcome to review the budget. If interested, please contact the church office.
• John Sandige was elected to the Finance committee. Thank you John for your willingness to serve.
• The vestry also approved a resolution to support CES in their continued exploration of facilities expansion at the middle school site off Hwy 21. This would include the moving of 3rd & 4th grades, possible sometime late next year. There is a continued commitment to the development of the Christ Church campus and a heightened awareness of the benefits of keeping the church community and campus together.

There are lots of exciting developments taking place at Christ Episcopal Church. Many times I have heard the description of our church community as Vibrant and Dynamic. I couldn’t agree more. Thanks to all for your participation.
